Incisa in Val D'Arno near Florence

 

The territory of the Municipality of Incisa, 120 metres above sea level, population 5,200, 26.2 sq kms is in a mainly hilly area in the upper Valdarno, on the left bank of the Arno river. It is part of the “Cinque Verdi Terre” (the five green lands), an initiative by “Open museum”.

 

Directions:
By Car: Autostrada A1 towards Rome, exit at Incisa Valdarno. From Florence, if you do not want to take the Autostrada, take the state road SS 67 towards Potassieve, then SS 69 to Incisa in Val d’Arno, The provincial road in S. Donato towards Bagno a Ripoli, S.Donato to Incisa in Val d’Arno. Incisa is located near the Incisa exit of the Autosole and on the direct slow line of the Florence/Arezzo railway, on the SS 69 and the Provincial road of S. Donato.
