General Information
Villa La Cappella dates back to the XII century. It stands on the historic Aliano hill, surrounded by a 7.000 square meter park filled with ancient cypress trees. You reach it by taking a panoramic country road, Via Lucardese, known as "The Wine Road". It wanders among the hills and vineyards from Montespertoli and brings you to the medieval towns of Certaldo and San Gimignano.
La Cappella Hotel includes The Villa with six apartments and The Chapel residence with one apartment. It offers a full range of guest Services.
The Villa
On the ground floor of the main building you will find:
-The reception desk
-The great hall with its antique central fireplace
-A quiet reading area with computer for internet or email
-The piano bar with local wine tasting and sales
The great hall leads to the dining area on the terrace with a spectacular view over the park and Chianti countryside. An elevator to the first and second floors brings you to the six apartments and the en-suites in the Villa La Cappella. Each accommodation has its own heating controls, telephone, satellite TV and a safe for valuables. WiFi computer access is available on the first floor apartments and in the bar. The elegant decor and atmosphere of each apartment is unique to it. Our big outdoor pool (50 by 24 feet is surrounded by sunning patios with panoramic views. Children have a separate pool only two feet in depth. The pools are open from the beginning of May until the end of September. Airport transfers to and from Pisa and Florence are provided for guests on request. A rental car (classic Mini Cooper convertible) is available at the Villa La Cappella premises.
The Chapel
La Chapel building, located next to the Villa, contains a private, split-level apartment of 200 square meters that can accommodate six people. It is available only by special advance reservation.
Large living room with the fireplace, sofa-bed and TV area. From the balcony there is a magnificent panoramic view. Next to the living room, there are:
One doubleroom with reading area and bathroom
One bedroom with 2 single beds with reading area and bathroom
Interior stairs from the living room lead to the kitchen and other stairs to a mezzanine floor with two twin single beds.
In the ground floor there are:
Three double rooms each with private bathroom. One room has twin beds; the other two have king sized beds. Each room is provided with TV, minibar, phone and safe.
HOTEL SERVICES :
-Transfer from Florence/Pisa airport and car rental at the Villa
-MINI CABRIO car rental - daily and weekly € 45,00 per day - € 295,00 per week
-Telephone and TV in every room plus computer access
-Breakfast service in dining room is available by request for guests renting apartments (7.50 € for adults; half-price for children under eleven)
-Restaurant service
-Lunch is served a la carte on the terrace with panoramic views.
-Candle-light dinner (about 23,00 €;children under 11 years half-price, under 5 years gratis) is served by reservation only, also on the terrace .
-Baby sitting and children's beds
-Piano Bar with wine tasting and sales
-Bike Rental
-Full size swimming pool with separate bathing pool for young children
-Bar service in the swimming pool
-We are equipped to organize private occasions, up to a max. of 80 people, for professional meetings, weddings, etc.
